More often than not, hiring a plumber is not what you would prefer to be doing right now. Having plumbing issues is not fun. But when you are in need of a plumber, it’s important that you do a little research to ensure you are hiring a good one. To help guide you through the process of hiring a plumber, we have provided you with a few tips that we have found to be extremely helpful to our customers.
- References – Company references can be found through several different methods. The first is to speak to family, friends, and neighbors about who they have used and what kind of experience they have had with them. Second, research the company online and review the references found there. Third, speak to a few plumbing companies and request references from previous customers.
- Licensed and Insured – Any plumber who is not licensed and insured should be automatically crossed off your list. We do not recommend hiring a plumber who can’t provide proof of both of these important documents.
- Experience – Experience in the business goes a long way. Hiring a new plumber can be risky. We recommend that you ask the plumbing company how long they have been in the business. The more experience, the better.
